Aiki Jujutsu

First let me start off by stating Idai Ryu Aiki Jitsu does not claim to be related to Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu. With the rise and popularity of mixed martial arts everybody is trying to get their piece of the pie. You will find multiple break offs and systems claiming to be a derivative from the original Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu system. Many are just Aikido and or Judo and Karate in disguise. We are not one of those. Idairyu has been around for decades and will continue to be as long as students find a need for a traditional no nonsense system that utilizes the old ways and some modern. Idairyu is taught in a combative way to be effective from a street or battlefield point of view. This type of training may not be for everyone. Those practitioners that study and are committed to learning find this system to be a life-long endeavor that keeps giving.

We do not teach nor condone religious practices and or theories based on Eastern ways. Many practitioners of the martial arts have great and honorable intentions when they start and end up practicing and delving into areas of Eastern religion and paganism that is best left alone. These types of practice and focus conflict with many organized religions from around the world. We are Christian. So these practices would conflict with our way of life under Judeo Christian teachings.

This class is dedicated to the continued growth of the art. This class is private and by invitation only.
